My new venture

Hi friends and family. I am so excited to share my new venture. I have always loved making things as gifts for baby showers and such. Lately I have been making these cute baby shoes as well. I really can not believe that Jaxon is 3! He has grown up so much this year. I love all his funny things he says, and does. His personality is really fun. Jaxon loves to play with all his Thomas trains, and loves to play with "his baby" brother. So excited to see what this year brings us! I have been using an amazing photographer lately. Me and sweet Jaxon, I can not get enough of his sweet smile <3

So I have recently downloaded an app for my iPhone called Hipstamatic, and I am in LOVE with the photos it takes, I can not stop playing with it! Here are a few that I have taken over the last few weeks

Jaxon loves his brother, he has to be by him as soon as he wakes up, then if he is not right there he is asking "where's the baby Mom?"

This is our view from our back yard, it was such a beautiful morning, we get many of great views here at our new home.

I took this picture to remind me how enjoyable it is to just relax and look into Lincolns eyes, they are so pure and innocent, plus I can see all the love he has for me, as well as seeing a bit of heaven in him.

I'm not sure if I have said this or not, but Jaxon just loves his brother!!! Here they are in bed this morning, Jaxon always wants to be right by him, he is such a sweet big brother! Lincoln also LOVE to look at Jaxon, even when he is in his face, which is most of the time :)

We Moved!! & Update on us :)

We have been super busy this summer, having Lincoln, and moving EEK!! So in case you all did not know, we sold our house HOORAY!!! We have been waiting since April for our bank to approve the offer. We are so relieved that they did indeed accept the offer. We found a great house in West Jordan with a great yard for Jaxon to play in. His Oma and Pa got him a sandbox that looks like a crab, he LOVES to play in it, however he does like to drag the sand all through the house LOL!! It also has an amazing view of the Wasatch Mountains.

Jaxon is growing so fast! He talks in sentences, he really is a big boy now! (as you can see) As for Lincoln, he is growing way fast too, he started to smile about a week ago. He also is growing so fast, and is getting really big too, Jaxon was tiny forever it felt like. He is such a great baby, only cries when he is hungry or wet, and has really brought so much joy to our family.

As for me I have been helping my Mom with her business 2 Local Gals Housekeeping, I do all the bookkeeping and money stuff! Lincoln gets to come with me to work on the days I go in, its nice too that I can do most of my work from home. I also am still doing some hair from home.

I promise to keep up on my posting of the boys, since they are growing super fast!

Baby Gardner 3D Ultrasound

So I took my Mom and Mother-in-law with me to get a 4D ultrasound on Wednesday, it was so amazing to see him even though I still have 8 weeks until I am due. He really looks a lot like Jaxon... I sure can not wait to hold him in my arms. His lips are so delicious!!

31 Weeks

So this week on Thursday I will be 31 weeks.... Well all I can say at this point is that I will be very excited to have this baby anytime he is ready..... Because I sure am!!! I have been having mild contractions or "braxton hicks" which with Jaxon never hurt me, and these do :( So yes I have been having many sleepless nights which usually include soaking in the tub. We still have not decided on a name for this little guy yet. We are taking suggestions so if you have some leave a message with them in it!

The fun things about this pregnancy are: He is a mover, always kicking and rolling. I love watching my belly move it is quite amazing that there is a human growing inside of me. I really do not have any weird cravings yet, sometimes I want a whole can of olives or actually I love going to Frogurt where I get to make my own soft served Yogurt and put on my own toppings... this could be dangerous FYI! We are thinking of doing a 3D Ultrasound maybe next week as well as having a photo shoot before he comes of my growing belly which really is not that big at all since he love hanging out in my back which = lots of back pain. So stay tuned for those pictures. So at this point if he is at all like Jaxon we could have him in the next 4 weeks or if not with in 9 I hope :)

25 Weeks along

So I am 25 weeks today.... for some of you, you know that this pregnancy has not really been a breeze like when I was pregnant with Jaxon. I was very sick in the beginning, now I am having round ligament pains, a wonderful rash that is not related to this pregnancy but can last up to 3 months... GREAT!!! But as they say each pregnancy is different and boy are they correct.

We still do not have a name picked out but a few we like are Weston, Watson, personally I am in love with Ryker, I still do not have Travis convinced on that yet :) We will however use Travis as the middle name.

I am starting to look more pregnant, and he is moving and kicking me more and more; that is the most amazing part of being pregnant, you have this living human growing inside you, moving and kicking soon he will be here. It won't be soon enough!! We are really excited to have this little boy. Jaxon is getting excited too to have a "brodder" :) I have made a really cute quilt for his crib and have been working on the bumper.... I think that we are pretty much ready, unless I decide to paint his room, which I have been wanting to do as well as Jaxon's room too.

Sorry I have been a slacker on posting.... life has just gone by so quickly. I promise to be better!

Jaxon started his swim lessons this week, the first day he was not quite sure about it, but today he for sure loved it. He has gotten that it is like a HUGE bath tub where he can splash, and kick. We did go under the water today, and he wanted to keep doing it. He also likes to "jump" off the edge to me. (really it is like falling in :)

Ok I know, I know it has been FOREVER since I have posted anything, well here you go 4 new posts, we have been having a pretty chill little life for the most part, Travis is working his tail off, same with me, lots of jewelry being bought, and hair being done, and helping the the office with my mom, boy I love that I get to be home with Jaxon.....

As for Jaxon he is not only walking but RUNNING or lack there of. Oh and did I mention into everything..... However he is so cute and we have just loved watching him grow and discover new things everyday. He has some new words too, Moo, Dog, Ball, Shoe, NO, Mama, Da-doo, yum-yum, I have been working with him and his colors, he does say red and blue, I want to think he said green the other day too, and is getting better at his sign language, he knows cookie, milk, more, eat. You know the basics :)

Well my goal is to post something each week (crossing my fingers). Check back, if there is nothing new please email or call me and harrass me to put up some new things!

Jaxon was not really sure what to think of unwrapping his gifts, so Trav and I did most of the work for him, however once he saw what was in the boxes he wanted what was in them, and like now!

I am not really a great bath time picture taker, I want to think the last time I took pictures of Jax in the tub he was like 6 months old. He LOVES his tubby, he splashes and squeals, it is so fun to watch him... yes I am the mom who likes to get him clean and out of the tub, Grama Helene made sure to let him play longer, so I have been, after I am soaking wet, you would have thought that I climbed in with him in my clothes.... Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I do hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We have so much to be thankful for. Here are a few things that I am thankful for.....

1. A wonderful Hubby, who loves me so very much
2. A beautiful child who(if I could) would have 10 of.... LOVE him!
3. My families health as well as mine
4. All of my dear friendships
5. A home to call our own
6. Food in our bellies
7. Clothes on our backs
8. Being able to stay home with Jaxon
9. Having a fun and enjoyable job

The list could go on and on. I am so very thankful for everything in my life.... Tonight I got this email about how most of us (and I am guilty too) want all the best things in life.... and how we look and want what others have it may be better and more than what we have...well I have decided that it is not worth the stress of buying more things that we do not need......items we buy just to buy because we can...... again I know that I am very guilty of this, I know that I have plenty and that others do not.

Every year I donate to the Road Home Homeless shelter, I take things like clothes, food, and anything else I can collect down there on Christmas Eve.... If any of my great friends and family have anything they want to donate, let me know I would be happy to come and pick it up for delivery.

I have read all the books (which I finished them each in a matter of days), and am in love with the story! Tonight we went to see Twilight, Shelbie, Jenny, Debbie and I saw it. What did I think of it? Well if you don't want to know don't read this..... So it was pretty close to the book, I thought that there were some really great moments in the movie, and wish that there were more, it was a bit High School for me and a tid bit cheesy, however I am interested in seeing what they do with the sequel of it. I am definatly a fan though of Edward, he is super yummy. If anyone who has seen it and you want to talk about it, I would love to... so call or email me:)

O Christmas Tree.......

I know. I know it is not even Thanksgiving.... Well it almost is, and I could not contain my self until this weekend. Last year when I sold my Salon I sold all of my past Christmas decor with it, so unfortunately I had to buy all new stuff. So as soon as I thought it wouldn't be too soon to put everything up we did. Trav and I have been looking for the perfect pre-lit Christmas Tree, no luck yet but maybe this weekend on Black Friday, so we borrowed a tree from his Mom, it is a bit short for my liking but works great so Jaxon can't grab it and pull it over.

Well due to my fantastic shopping for decor last year we had more than plenty to go around our home, I got the tree all decorated, the tops of our cabinets lit up, as well as my fantastic centerpiece on our table.

I started putting the lights up on Saturday with help from Trav, we got half way done but it got to cold, and well the Utes were playing :) And on Sunday I sure didn't do much either. So yesterday I finished up with that, they look so great, you can't really tell but I do have some star lights on my tiny deck, go figure who would have thought I liked stars ;)

VW Pride

If any of you don't know Travis works on VW's, so we were hangin out over the weekend and doing our coffee thing, well Trav was done with his coffee (FREE mug) and Jaxon thought it would feel good on his gums :)

He is a silly boy as you can see. He kept trying to hold it just right, mugs are heavy for the little guys. It takes a lot of muscles.

Happy Halloween

Jaxon had his first Halloween, we had a fun day, I put him in his costume for the entire day, he just looked so cute! We first went to Grama Helene's and Grampa Stan's house to trick-or-treat, he loves their light by the door, so that is why he is looking up in most of the pictures, we then went to Grams house and went to a few houses there, and met up with Aunt Terri, and his cousin Conner, I need to get pictures from Terri of them, Conner was a Hippy, so fun!

First words and teeth

So Jaxon is getting his two bottom teeth, he is so funny with his tongue, he will stick it out and rub it on them. I am working on getting a picture of both his teeth and him sticking out his tongue.

The other day at work, he was in his play yard, he loves to throw out his binki, and Grama Helene said "ugh-oh" and Jax just repeated it, so now he will say ugh-oh, and wow, and oh. He is growing up so fast. I guess that means I need to watch my mouth so he doesn't start saying some other words ;)

So as I had mentioned earlier we were "supposed" to get all this snow, well we didn't get tons of snow but we did get some, Jaxon was fascinated by it coming down.

He thought it was fun to breath on the glass, then he would touch the fog on the window. Our silly friend, how do they get so smart?!

Pumpking Hunting in the COLD

Ok so I guess the word on the street is that we are going to get like 4-6 inches of snow in the valley this weekend, and we have not even thought of getting our pumpkins yet, so as soon as Trav got home from work we were off to the pumpkin patch.

It was FREEZING! I really want Jaxon to wear hats so badly cuz what can I say he looks so great in them, and when we got there surprize suprize he kept it on!

He was not to sure about the pumpkins, so it was a quick trip to the patch. We had fun:)

Sorry that it has been almost a month since I posted anything new, so much has changed with our little monkey it is crazy, he is crawling and climbing everything and everywhere, Dad installed a gate so he won't fall down the stairs. I don't like to crawl on the tile

Jax really dislikes crawling on the tile, he will of course to get to the door stopper and to play with the blinds, also if I'm not watching he makes a dash to get into my office before I notice him. I love how he stands on his feet to walk/crawl. The other day he was doing this and realized that if he pushed back just a bit he could fall on his bum. Where did he get this funny personality?

We were up at my mom's and Stan's place in Idaho over Labor Day, Jaxon is so close to crawling, it is kinda an army crawl/regular crawl. I love how he learns something new almost everyday.What an amazing experience!

So Jaxon is rolling and turning on his tummy, he is everywhere, the other day he was playing with the DVD player and it opened he thought that was cool, he had the disk out and everything. Silly boy. We really have to watch what we leave out on the floor or at his reach, it goes right into his mouth.

Jaxon has been eating so good, and he has finally figured out he has to open BIG to get his food. He likes mostly everything I have given to him, he was not sure about the Guava so I didn't finish giving it to him. He also love his teething cookies, my mom gave him a gram cookie and that gave me the idea to give him something that he wouldn't choke on. He really likes them too, he holds them so good. Who knew eating would be so fun.

While Josh and Robynn were here we had fun getting together for Gabe's baptisim and Crystals sweet Raevynn's blessing. A lot of our family was here too, Kelly's girls were here and Jaxon had so much fun playing with them, I did to of course. It was fun to see everyone and spend more that just a few hours with them. We miss Josh, Robynn and the kids. But we have some fun memories with them. Ellie did not want to sit for the picture, we got one as you can see.

Jaxon's first road trip

We went to St.George at the end of July to see My brother Josh and his family, they have not seen Jax since he was 6 weeks old, Jaxon had fun swimming with Josh, Gabe and Ellie, we had such a great time, Robynn's parents have such a beautiful home, we thank them for letting us stay there. Jaxon LOVES the pool, he is a splasher, I think he may be a fish like his mom :)

Jaxon got to meet his Aunt Sue, Uncle Brian and cousins Ashley and Austin this last week for the first time, they live in Kentucky. It was so much fun to see them and spend time with them while they were here. We have not seen them since last year when they came out, I was only a few weeks along in my pregnancy, so they missed it all. He had so much fun playing with them and watching all of them play, our other cousin Conner lives here. It was fun to be all together with the kids.

Jaxon Can Roll over!!!

So the other day Jaxon and I were trying to take a nap, I was watching him with my eyes slightly closed, as I watched him he figured out how to roll from his tummy to his back! This has created a problem you see, Jaxon sleeps on his tummy so when he is trying to fall asleep he rolls himself over and does not go to sleep! It is so cute! I love his feet, he has to have the crossed to rollover. He also is really working on rolling back onto his tummy from his back, maybe this week he will.

So I finally took some pictures of our house, this is our Family Room and Kitchen and of course what the outside looks like, we moved in 4 days after Jaxon was born, he needed to be apart of the action I guess, we still want to paint, and add some things to the wall. We really love our home, it is so wonderful to have it. We hope that some of you out of towners will come and visit us soon as well :)

For my grandma's birthday, our family got together. It was so much fun, I got to spend time with my family and my beautiful niece, she is soooo cute and sweet! Jaxon loves to look at her, one day they will be playing but for now they just get to lay by each other, he was looking at her like "why are you laying on my arm?" So sweet.

So while Travis was in Denver for school I decided I was going to win as many boards on Mario Kart as I could, as most of you may not know; I do not usually play vida games, so impressive as it may sound I beat the first board! Hooray I was so excited, I think I was up until midnight playing. Oh boy am I in trouble, as of now I only have one silver medal and a bronze on the second board, so I will keep you updated on our naughty vida games we play! Oh ya check out my amazing body :) LOL!!!

It was Trav's birthday last week, he got a Wii, we had a great time bowling with his mom (Margie) and Sister (Terri). The next day we played ALL day Trav and Greg beat the first board on Mario Kart, Super Fun! And do you love Trav's sweet Mii character? LOVE the side part :)

This year Travis, Jaxon and I did the Walk for the Cure in celebration of my Grandma Johanna, who is a survivor! As well as other friends who have been touched by cancer It was super fun and very emotional knowing that others were walking in Memory of their loved ones. We met up with Trav's sister Terri, we had a ball and plan on doing this every year!
